The Taper passage lever set features a passage latch but contains no locking function. The passage latch is retracted by the motion of a lever. The Taper lever is also available in the entry (locks/unlocks with a key on the outside and a push-button on the inside), privacy (locks/unlocks with a push-button on the interior and can be unlocked from the exterior with the emergency release), dummy (contains no latch or locking function) and half dummy (one sided with no latch or locking function) functions. These items are listed separately.
