Emtek offers a high degree of customization, allowing you to create hardware uniquely suited to your home. We would be happy to assist with customization beyond what is offered here. The Urban Modern patio (single-sided) deadbolt features a hardened steel bolt for additional strength and security. The deadbolt is retracted by a thumbturn on the inside. The Urban Modern style is also available in the single cylinder (locks/unlocks with a key on the outside and a thumbturn on the inside) and double cylinder (locks/unlocks with a key on the outside and inside of the door) functions. These items are listed separately.

The Urban Modern patio deadbolt is designed for easy installation using 1-3/4" cross bore and 1" edge bore door prep.

  • Installation Instructions
  • When you are preparing for the 1-3/4" cross bore, bore from the inside 1-1/2" deep, do not bore all the way through the door.
